Rick was the very best father-in-law a gal could ever ask for! Always so supportive, encouraging and entertaining! I've always felt so fortunate to be a part of The Sauvé Clan! I could sit with him for hours while he told stories and jokes! Watching him sing and play guitar was always pure enjoyment! Rick will be greatly missed by many but never forgotten.

Farewell to my old friend that I remember and cherished, and the many good times we had at the old watering hole sharing good conversation and good food.
My deepest sympathy to the Sauve family as Rick will not be forgotten.
Don't forget to raise a glass and remind all that are around you by saying the special toast: "STUYA" to one and all.
Rest In Peace old buddy.

Your Dad (and Mom) were our family’s special friends, neighbours and family who weren’t family. Growing up with them close by was sooo much fun. Your Dad knew how to make a party a lot of fun and my parents had a lot of them . After we lost my own Dad there was many a Friday night that your Dad and Mom would call our house telling my Mom and I to come over and have a beer with them. It certainly helped with the loneliness we felt as a family after we lost our Dad. Gestures like that you never forget. Although we haven’t seen your Dad in years, there definitely was a close bond felt when we got together with him, on one of his last visits to Sudbury. We are glad your Dad isn’t suffering any longer and even more happy that he and the love of his life are together again. Our deepest condolences to you all. I think we will raise a beer to your Dad on Friday night and remember the good times we were so lucky to have with him and of course your beautiful Mom. Hugs to you all

Dearest Grant, Leanne, John & family:
Writing a tribute is difficult for me today. So many good memories in so many ways. Rick & Lucy our “I Love Lucy duo” lit up everyone’s day. Always laughter & so many good times come to mind for us & “Attic” family.
Things come & go but the good memories prevail.
Stronger than ever there are special people that touch your heart and Rick & Lucy were that couple that touched our hearts in good times & when in need.
Dad is now united with your beautiful Mom.
Rick was always one to throw a cheer out to anyone. Today we say “ Cheers “ to Rick & thanks for for being part of our lives.
Donna & George Gagnon & Vlajkov families

Rick always lit up a room with his wit and charm. Every time I had the good fortune to see Rick he always made me laugh. Listening to him sing and play guitar was a delight and when he played with my brother in law Grant it was pure magic! He will be missed!

I have memories of your Dad from when I at a young age up into early adulthood. Your Mom and Dad lived two doors down from us. My family especially on my Mom’s side loved to have parties and it was a sure thing that Richard and Lucy would be invited. Your Dad and Jim Sandul (our next door neighbour) would take turns entertaining by singing and playing their guitars. I remember that some of the songs had swear words in them and I thought that was too funny. I’ve even sung them to my kids and now my grandkids. I think I had a little crush on your Dad because he was so handsome. My sister Debbie and I babysat you kids often. Your Dad and Mom loved to party late into the early morning and often came home to us sleeping on the couch. Your Dad and Mom were so caring and compassionate when my Dad passed away. Your Dad was also very helpful in getting my brother Chris out of a jam. I feel saddened by his departure. Im sure in many ways it was a blessing because his quality of life was less. I also know that our loss is heaven’s gain. And I’m happy that those two wonderful loving and caring people are together again. Our deepest sympathies and we’re sure you have many wonderful memories to help you in your grief. Love Wendy Zinn and family. Oxoxox
