I would like to extend my/our heartfelt sympathies to Cathy and David and your family on the death of your Mother, Annette, on February 7th. May you be surrounded by all the love and support you need at this difficult time.
I was very sad to hear of her passing.
I would phone her all the time and chat. She always said at first "Oh high" How are you?".
I met Annette back many years ago after I had met her sister Carol. Carol just live down the road from me and she asked me what about getting a group together to play cards. I thought that was a great idea. So we had 7 in are card group. Annette loved to come and play and she had such a joyful laugh. Another thing about Annette she loved her purses, just like me. She would always ask where did you get that purse and asked about how many separations the purse had and made sure there was a zipper to close...LOL Almost every week I would phone Annette to go to Tim Hortons for coffee which was right behind her apartment. When I called she said "Are we going for coffee" and I said yes and she replied I will be right there. Sometimes she walked over behind her apartment other times she drove. We had some great conversations. After she moved I really missed those coffee times together. RIP Annette, you are finally with your sister Carol who you missed dearly. You will be missed by our card group.
POEM
When tomorrow starts without me
When tomorrow starts without me
And I’m not here to see
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears for me
I wish you wouldn’t cry
The Way you did today
While thinking of the many things
We did not get to say
I know how much you love me
As much as I love you
Each time that you think of me
I know you will miss me too
When tomorrow starts without me
Please try to understand
That an angel came and called my name
And took me by the hand
The angel said my place was ready
In heaven far above
And That I would have to leave behind
All those I Dearly Love
But When I walked through Heaven’s Gates
I felt so much at home
When GOD looked down and smiled at me
From his golden throne
He said This Is Eternity
And All I promised you
Today for life on earth is done
But Here it starts a new
I promise no tomorrow
For today will always last
And Since each day’s the exact same way
There is no longing for the past
So When Tomorrow starts without me
Do not think we’re apart
For every time you think of me
Remember I’m right here in your heart
