Obituary of Marilyn Dolores Hirst

June 5, 1939 – February 16, 2024

After a long illness, passed peacefully on Friday February 16^th at Grace Villa Nursing Home in Hamilton in her 85^th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Bryan (2012). Loving mother to Rev. Rhonda Hirst and Wayne and Joy Hirst. Dear grandmother of Steven and Jessica (Anthony). Predeceased by her siblings Jim (Ann), John (Julia), Gloria (Jerry), Herb (Grace) and Larry. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff on the 3^rd floor of Grace Villa for their amazing and compassionate care over the years. Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stoney Creek Food Bank, the SPCA, or a charity of your choosing would be appreciated.

She was well loved, and she will be missed.
