Obituary of Eileen Florence Librock

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Eileen Florence Librock (nee Griffiths), at the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital on April 17, 2024, in her 82nd year. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 34 years, Howard; her sister, Elaine; and daughter, Shelley. Eileen will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by her partner of 27 years, Dave. She leaves behind a legacy of love as a devoted mother to Cheryl (Randy), Howard (Sandra), Brenda (Bill), Rob (Tracey), and Mike (Teresa). Her memory will also be cherished by her grandchildren Heather, Bradley, Kelly, Jeffrey, Zachary, Karleigh, Paul, Alana, Joey, Dana, Hannah, Meagan, Brendan and her great-grandchild Chesney. Will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Evelyn, her brother Bill and their families. Eileen will be sadly missed and remembered in our hearts forever.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital for their dedicated care. Cremation has been respectfully carried out.

Visitation will be held at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Interment for Eileen and her daughter Shelley will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 700 Chapel Hill Road, Stoney Creek on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at Forestview Community Church, 132 Lake Street, Grimsby from 2:30-5:30 p.m.
