Obituary of Jack Hayter

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jack, beloved Husband and Father on April 26, 2024.  Lovingly remembered by his wife Maureen of 62 years, his children Chris & Gary, Kim & Mike, Kelly & Carlo, and Dan (predeceased). His grandchildren Danielle & James, Lucas, Aaron & Taylor, Josh & Kat, Connor & Michael, Rachel, Adam, Madi and Big Grandpa to Emmy, Harriet and Gemma. Big brother to Catherine, Faye (predeceased) Audrey, Blair, Linda and their spouses. Brother in law to Fran, Marsha, Tim and their spouses.  Jack treasured time spent with his grandchildren and there was always room on his lap for one more.  

Golfing, fishing, gardening, spending time at the trailer in Port Dover were some of his favourite pastimes.  He was a great role model, to Jack family always came first.  He will be remembered for his charm, warm smile and of course his love for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Go Leafs Go!

Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, April 30th from 5-8 p.m. You are invited to wear your Leafs apparel.
