Nancy and Family - I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Jack's passing. The last time I saw your Mom and Dad was in Walmart (Eastgate Square). They spoke very highly of you and your family. Remember the happy times - you were a wonderful daughter. Sincerely, Heather

From:Marilyn Playfair and the Girls from Stoney Creek Travel
Nancy, Vince and Family; Norm and I are saddened to learn of Jack's passing. Jack and Shirley were very kind to me when I was going through a very difficult time in my life. They 'gave' me the use of their trailer in Pinellas County, Florida with my children. They didn't cash the cheque that I had paid them with, and didn't want any reimbursement. Jack was always coming to the office to tell us his wonderful stories, and about his family. The world is a little less, for the loss of these great people.
I Thankyou for having known them, Love Marilyn

Nancy, so sorry to hear about your father. We worked at Stoney Creek Travel in the 80's and your Dad would come in to visit us for the Stoney Creek News. We always looked forward to his visit and all his stories.
(We also miss your baking for us at Christmas when we didn't have time to bake ourselves!)
Our Sincere Condolences,

Vince, Nancy, Jenny, Andrew, Mike, Leigh Ann, Nan, Dave and the little ones.
Our deepest condolences to all of you. Watching a family member suffer and knowing that there isn't anything that we can do to "fix it" is a horrible thing to go through. God knows when enough is enough and that is when He calls them to Heaven to live in His house instead of ours.
You can all take great comfort in knowing that you did everything that could possibly be done and took incredible care of him right to the very end. You did God's work while he was here on earth and now God is taking care of him and your mom while they are forever in Heaven.
May God bless and watch over all of you during this time of deep personal sadness.

Nancy & Family, Sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. I have such wonderful memories of both your parents from those days many years ago when they used to come and look after us when my parents went away. We had so many laughs and such good memories of your whole family. You were a wonderful daughter and support to your parents. Raise your cup and cheer your parents this Christmas as you know they would love that.
