Julie, Mike, Courtney, Ethan and extended family! We are sooo deeply saddened by your loss of Sawyer! From the first time I met him with Julie, I told tell what type of character he was. Respectful yet reserved…comedic ( I see where Ethan said he always had a smirk on his face ) but his demeanour never had you thinking he was being sarcastic!
I have a baseball cap that reads “ Life is a Journey, Not a Guided Tour! Sawyer took your Guidance and wrote a beautiful Journey right til the end and we have no doubt that he is still writing it! God Bless and may he RIP! Love Jason, Lindsy and William

I knew Sawyer only through my son who went to Mount Hope elementary with him and became good friends. They shared much in common and my son always spoke about Sawyer with high regard.
Our family extends deepest sympathies to Sawyers family and friends. I imagine there are no words that bring comfort at this time but may God bring comfort to all of you by knowing Sawyer is a special angel in Gods kingdom, who will forever watch over you, and who you will be reunited with in heaven.
Our continued prayers and thoughts are with Sawyer and his cherished loved ones.

Just wanted to say I’m deeply sorry for the loss of Sawyer. Even though we aren’t blood related I looked and still continue to look at Sawyer as my big cousin. Sawyer and I got along so well growing up. From going on walks on the trail behind his house to going on camping trips together. I’ll never forget this one time growing up when we were in his room and he was showing me this toy he had got and Ranger, his dog, started peeing and it made a trail all the way out his room and down the stairs. We thought it was the funniest thing and laughed about it forever. Sawyer was a great kid and anyone who got the opportunity to meet him were very fortunate. Regardless of who he was speaking to, he had the best manners and that’s something I’ll remember as well. He was very polite, quiet, funny and had a great sense of humour with lots of sarcasm to it. Sawyer was also a hard worker. I’ll forever miss him and cherish the years and memories I made with him. Rest easy Sawyer❤️

I'm remembering past moments at the cottage with you all and overwhelmed with emotions. Sawyer had so much fun biking, hiking, swimming, boating, jumping on the trampoline, A quiet young man with a twinkle in his eye. He loved his family tremendously. He will always be missed.

Julie, Mike, Ethan and family - we are so very sorry. We are thinking of you and sending you so much love and strength. I had the pleasure of watching Sawyer grow up throughout the years as we gathered at family birthday parties - my niece's and nephew's "big cousin Sawyer." In June, I had the pleasure of catching up with Sawyer at one of these family parties. I will remember that moment for always. Julie and Mike you raised a great young man who spoke sweetly and softly and with respect and genuine interest. My family and I are thinking of you all and keeping you close to our hearts and thoughts. May your memories and endless love give you courage, strength, and light. Rosaria, Rick, Riccardo, and Domenic DiPronio. xoxo

There are no words that will take away this pain. Sawyer was a sweet, quiet with the sides smirk, hard-working, young man. He was polite and kind, and always willing to help and lend a hand to my family. He will be greatly missed his short life, impact it more people than I think you will ever realize. His light will live on through all of his family and his friends forever! we love you all xoxo

My memory of Sawyer is thorough the eyes of my dear friend, Julie, his mom. She spoke tenderly of his deep love of nature and getting out-into it. She also conveyed his curiously and passion for exploring. He will be sadly missed.

This was the night sawyer and I went exploring together (one of many when staying with the Hamill family) we just came out of that abandoned house with the long lane way in the middle of the fields across from where they lived . It was a big hill with a little pond, down below, looked like he was dancing in the sky so I told him to pose. Rip sawyer, I’ll always cherish waiting for you to come home from school so we could get up to no good adventuring around! Miss you so much buddy❤️
