Obituary of William "Bill" Allen Fanson

It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of William Allen Fanson. Bill was the cherished father of his three daughters Cajolene (Jesse), Cheryl (Jamie) Jennifer (Arthur), “Poppy” to Beau, Lochlen, Gage, Evie and Jasper. He will be sadly missed by the mother of his children and friend Caroline Fanson; siblings Butch, Don, John and Kathy, step-father Al Keely, plus many cousins, nieces, nephews and great friends. Predeceased by his parents Dorothy and Harry Fanson. 

 

We would like to sincerely thank the staff at Hamilton General Hospital for his amazing care and their compassion. 

 

Dad was a free spirit, who beat to his own drum. He had an intuition to find his daughters anywhere and everywhere. He loved his family and friends, nature and construction. Dad would give the shirt off his back to anyone. He had a heart of gold. If you needed anything dad would either find it or have it in his tickle truck. He enjoyed any time naps, beers with his friends, lake views and man caves. The people that knew him loved him deeply. He will be so greatly missed...  

 

 

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday, August 26, 2024 from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
