Bob's Deer Rock Fishing Buddies posted a condolence
Saturday, May 3, 2008
Hick's Family,
You are all in our thoughts and hearts as we mourn Bob's passing. We thank-you for lending Bob to us each year for our annual fishing rituals.
Although Bob didn't care much for the fishing, we would like to think that he always went home with treasures far greater than any trophy fish.
Bob is remembered as an individual, rich in character, with a talent for cooking the best shore-line menu imaginable.
With a firm handshake, a nod of his head, and a flash of his trademark smile, Bob welcomed each one of us year after year. He shared his stories, and enjoyed the camaraderie, rising early each morning to do it all over again.
We will miss him and regret not being able to be there to say good-bye to him this one last time, but rest assured, Bob's memory will be kept alive within our hearts, and in our stories, every year to come.
