Obituary of Marjorie Gladys Atkinson

(Nee Davidson)

September 12, 1938 - September 2, 2024

Peacefully in her sleep, after a long battle with Alzhiemers and Dementia.

Born in New Brunswick to parents Hugh and Emma Davidson. Sister to Helen (Betty), Ruth, Lena and Dorothy (deceased). Marjorie was the youngest of 5 girls, but always said she was her father’s only son.

Beloved wife of Patrick Atkinson for 58 years until his passing in 2021.  Loving Mother to Andrew (Val), Hugh-David (deceased 1965), Paul and Patti (Paul). Step-mother to Joe (Pat), Stan (deceased 1984), Betty (Ian) and Tim (Rafelina).  Loving Grandma to Christopher, Hugh-David, Maria, Justin, Holly (deceased 2021) and 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Marjorie will be missed by many nieces and nephews.  She was loved and will be missed by many.

Marjorie loved sewing, knitting, crocheting and doing puzzles. She also loved baking, especially bread.
