Obituary of Sreten (Mike) Vesich

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sreten (Mike) Vesich on October 23rd, 2024 in his 90th year at the Mariposa House Hospice in Severn, Ontario.  Mike is survived by his daughters Vera Lowson (Dave) and Lisa Jenkins (Bill), son David Horachek (Allison), grandchildren Curtis Jenkins (Jessica), Lindsay Jenkins (Abraham), Steven Lowson, Davis and Liam Horachek greatgrandchildren Kamilah, Rachel and Sabrina, as well as sister Nada Knezevic (late Slavko), brother Zarko Vesich, and many nieces and nephews. Mike is predeceased by his parents Leposava and Bozidar and sister Mira Jovanovic. 

Visitation will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday, October 27th from 4 to 6 p.m. Pomen will begin at 4:30 p.m.. Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, 1401 Barton St East, Hamilton on Monday, October 28th at 11 a.m. The Very Reverend Father Vojislav Pavlovic officiating.
