Obituary of William Hill

HILL, William "Billy" April 19, 1935 - October 27, 2010 Peacefully, on October 27, 2010, “Billy” passed away at his home, “Chedoke on the Mountain”, at age 75. Bill will be forever remembered by his cousins, Marion and Ted Hammond, Uncle Ted Sr., Michelle and Tony LoRegio, Rogie Hammond, and Clancy and Sheelagh Roberts. Billy has one son, Scott Hill. Billy was predeceased by his parents William and Alice Hill and his brother Roy Hill. He worked in Railroading with the T.H.&B and for many years was a Stelco employee. Bill was an avid golfer and Detroit Red Wings Fan. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday, October 30, 2010 from 1 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Billy’s Life at 2 p.m. In Billy’s memory, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
