Obituary of Ruth Roberts

Ruth passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Saviour at the United Mennonite Home, Vineland, on Wednesday November 13, 2024, in her 78th year. Beloved wife of Jim for 52 years. Loving mother of Greg and his wife Jennetta and Megan Roberts and her husband Jordan Urbanek. Cherished grandmother of Holly-Jean, Ian and Sean. Dear sister of Sandra Brown-Buck and sisters-in-law Ruth Roberts and Ishbel Roberts. Predeceased by brothers and sisters-in-law; Harvey, Shirley (Bob), David (Shirley), Bernice (Jerry) and John. Will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was a retired school teacher with the Hamilton-Wentworth School Board and for many years was actively involved in the ministry of Paramount Drive Alliance Church. Cremation has taken place.

Family and friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday, November 22nd from 6-9 p.m. and at Paramount Drive Alliance Church, 1035 Paramount Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday, November 23rd from 9-11 a.m.  The Funeral Service will begin at 11:30 a.m.
