Obituary of Giovanna Jackson

Peacefully after a brief battle with cancer, Giovanna (Joanne) was reunited with her parents Clemente and Marianna and her brother Marino Galanti. Surrounded by the immense love of her friends and her goddaughter Tiana, Joanne transitioned to complete her journey. Joanne is survived by her sister-in-law Rose and her niece and nephew Sabrina and Anthony Galanti.

Joanne loved to travel, a good party, her friends and her beloved cat Lola. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday, November 20, from 6- 8 p.m.
