Michele and I send our condolences to Julie and family. 'Janko' was a big part of our Dofasco lives in the company and outside of work with BBQ parties and sports. I have many fond memories playing bridge with John. Our prayers are with the Konior family.

Dearest Julie, “The Measure of a Man is not "How did he die?" But "How did he live?" Not "What did he gain?" But "What did he give?" Not "What was his station?" But "Had he a heart?" The true measure of a man is in the lives he has touched”. John touched so many lives and had the biggest heart, we wish it was stronger ❤️ We have so many wonderful family memories of our lives with John and it’s hard to pick just one but I keep coming back to the time before you were married and he wanted to show his love for you with a “promise ring” so he asked me to go with him and help him pick out something beautiful. We went downtown and looked at lots of rings and finally he chose a beautiful sapphire ring because he said it matched the colour of your eyes. John was such a sweet and loving soul and your world will not be the same without him. We will always be there for you and hope you find comfort in all the beautiful memories you shared together and in knowing how much he loved you and was loved. With our love, Rob & Patti

My deepest condolences to Julie, Dan, Kim, David and all your family. John touched so many lives at Brewster Pool over the years. His positive outlook and kindness was uplifting to all the Staff and Patrons. He made our Waterfit classes fun for all. John will be truly missed.

My sincerest condolences to Julie and the Konior family. Big John as he was known on the volleyball team was an all around great guy, team mate and friend. The photo is a picture after volleyball (John and Merv) discussing the nights results and our strategies for the following week at our sponsor. We played together for 30 plus years and remained friends, catching up over lunch and a pint. I'll miss you my friend.
