Obituary of Lisa Joanne Hunt

HUNT, Lisa Joanne (nee Walker) Lost her courageous battle with bladder cancer on January 23, 2012 at the age of 49. She is survived by her loving husband Tim Hunt, her mother Isobel Walker (Nanaimo, BC), sisters Carmi Simpson (Nanaimo, BC), Susan and Rande Young (Vancouver, BC) and her brother Mark and Bobbi Walker (Helena, Montana). Lisa moved to Ontario in 1985 following the love of her life at the time –horses. In 1987, Lisa met the real love of her life Tim Hunt and they finalized their love with their marriage in 1999. Lisa was an exceptional person who excelled in all things that she put her hand to and especially being a great wife, horseman, IT specialist and an advocate for Bladder Cancer. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, January 27, 2012 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to ladder Cancer Canada(www.bladdercancercanada.org) would be appreciated by the family.
