Obituary of Dorothy Maude Jackson

JACKSON, Dorothy Maude Nee Watt (February 16, 1920- September 12, 2013) Peacefully at Heritage Green Nursing Home on Thursday, September 12, 2013 in her 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Murray R. Jackson. Beloved mother of Marilyn Finton (Ab Green), Don (Iris), Brian (Carole) and the late Paul (Renate). Grandma will be missed by 10 grandchildren, 7 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Devoted sister of Isabelle Thackeray and sister-in-law Marion Watt and the late John Watt, Morgan Watt and Donna Dederick. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Dorothy’s Life will be held in the Chapel on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Fulton United Church Cemetery.
