Obituary of Doreen Johnston

JOHNSTON, (Myra) Doreen We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of our mother and grandmother on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husbands Claude Cox and Walter Johnston. Loving mother to Nancy Toohey (Fred), Beverly Robbins (Roger) and Brian Cox (Debbie). She will be remembered by her grandchildren Sean (Stacey), James, Erin (Gord), Matthew (Courtney), the late Jennifer and great-grandchildren Jade, Jimmy and Addison. Doreen was a faithful member of The Church of Christ with over 75 years of service and will be deeply missed by her church family. Special thanks to her niece Marilyn Culp, and the nurses at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Ward C Crystal, Patti and Dr. O'Dea for their extra care and attention. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at The Church of Christ in Grimsby on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Fifty Cemetery in Winona.
