I have had the good fortune of growing up beside Sally, Hugh and family as our family home was next door for close to 40 years.
I've got many memories, and have always had a very great respect for Sally. I have always admired her as a very strong woman - a real inspiration. It's not often you have the pleasure of meeting such a lovely person, and I am thankful to have known Sally.
My sincere condolences are with you Hugh and Sally's children, grand-children, and great grand-children.

I had the good luck to meet a generous, vivacious, untiring person in New Orleans, LA during a Toastmasters convention. We became instant friends.
I would ask her if she wanted to go for a trip to Alligator farm, she would say "Yes" and would be ready in five minutes.
We kept in touch and I visited her last time in Stony Creek in 2005.
She sent me her recipe for Magic pie. My wife Helen and I tried it out. It turned out to be delicious. Only a few days ago, Helen told me to make one. She also wanted to know if I had talked to Sarah. Now it seems that chance is going to elude me.
My heart goes out to Hugh and to Kellog family.
I will cherish the wonderful memories of a true friend.

Although I met your mom through a mutual friend, I got to know her even better through her volunteer work and Toastmasters. She was an incredible woman - very well spoken, confident and strong. She never let age slow her down, and her energy inspired me.
May fond memories of your wife/mom/grandmother/great-grandmother keep her close to your heart. I'm sure she left an incredibly legacy for the world to enjoy.

Sally was a wonderful woman who enjoyed her family and loved to have fun.
One of Sally’s legacies to my family is her recipe for Sausage Hors d’oeuvres. It is an easy recipe using sausages, cheese, milk and Bisquick. In our family, we refer to them as Sally’s Newfie Hors d’oeuvres. When we get together and are enjoying a batch of them, we will think of Sally with love.
My love and prayers to Uncle Hugh and all of Sally’s family.
Love,
Sheila
