Dear Dave, Darrell & Randy,
I'm very sorry I was unable to attend the visitation for your dear mom. I have very fond memories of her as Akela for my brother Mark and being very active at Church of Our Saviour alongside my parents and with your dad. I know she had a kind, loving heart and will be greatly missed by many people. I'm glad my parents and my brother were able to extend their condolences on behalf of our family. May God be near to each one of you and comfort you today and in the days to come. Love, Sandy

From: Debbie McBride of Chestermere, Alberta (Irene Aitken's grand-daughter). My thoughts and prayers go out to Marg's family. I remember the first time I met Marg and Jack. I was out visiting Grandma Irene and she insisted that I come with her to meet Marg and Jack and to see all of Marg's animals. I remember how much fun my visit was with them (they were both quite the characters!!) and how much Marg enjoyed her animals. She could tell a story about every one of them. After that, every time I went out east I always made a point to visit Marg with Grandma, the last visit being in July of 2010 when she was at the manor. You will be dearly missed Marg.
