KENNEDY, Joan With heavy hearts, the family of Joan announces her passing on Sunday, September 21, 2008, at the Henderson General Hospital, at the age of 68. Beloved wife and companion of William for 45 years. Loving mother and best friend of Tracey Toltl, and very proud grandma to Nathan. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 11 a.m. with visitation an hour prior. In Joan's Memory, donations to Winterberry Heights Church, 300 Winterberry Drive, Stoney Creek, L8J 3Y1, would be appreciated by the family.
