Dear Anne and family, I was so very sorry to hear of Warren's passing. I just found out about it today. I wish I could have been at the funeral.
When I first came to BR as a music teacher in 1978, Warren was the first teacher to welcome me and take me on as a rookie teacher to show me the ropes there, even though I wasn't in his department. I will forever remember his very kind mentoring as a new teacher.
my prayers and sympathy are with you.

As I read through the condolence book I started to cry. Everyone remembered Warren as I do! He was that big warm bear of a man with the contagious smile and hug that always made you feel special and the centre of his world when you talked to him. I know Anne that he was your protector, best friend, supporter and love of your life. He cared deeply for all of his family and will continue to watch over you all. Our prayers are with you and we weep with you but cherish the memories and will celebrate his life using it as an example to live by.

Dear Anne & Children
We grieve with you in your great loss of husband and father. And, for us, a charming and exceptional human being.
Warren will always be remembered as a 'true hero' for his warm smile and wonderful sense of humour - even in his suffering - an example for us all.
May our Lord God receive him with open arms. Well done good and faithful servant.
There will be a mass for Warren at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Naples, Florida in March when I am there. He is being prayed for 'all over the world'.
Bless all of you in this sad time.
Love, Aunt Madge

Our thoughts are with you all during this difficult week. It is hard to be away from "home" at a time like this. Please know we are there in spirit. A fairly recent memory... it was great that Warren and Anne took the time to come visit our business when we moved to Florida. We really appreciated seeing friends from home. So glad all 5 kids were able to be there. God bless.

I wanted to extend my deepest sympathies for your loss. Warren was my math teacher at St. Thomas More and he was the best teacher I had throughout my education. Anytime school conversations come up I have always found myself bringing up Warren's name and referring to him as my favourite and the best teacher I ever had. He shared so much in the classroom, his skill knowledge, warmth, friendliness and smile only to name a few. I can only imagine what it was like to have him as a dad and or spouse.
I hope you can all take comfort in how much he was loved and what a profound impact he had on so many peoples lives.
I wish you peace and comfort in this most difficult time of great loss.
sincerely Kathleen

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. We will always fondly remember the numerous trips out to B.C. Warren and Anne took to see the two daughters' families and the get togethers we were honoured to be invited to. Warren had the biggest SMILE I can ever remember and always a happy, boisterous greeting for whomever he met. His presence filled the room and I'm sure, his presence is filling Heaven right now. Blessings and Peace to you all.

Warren Mc Donald was my Grade 10 high school Math teacher 44 years ago. Despite the time that has passed, I still remember how he made Math make sense and easy to understand. No teacher before or after Mr. Mc Donald was able to do that for me when it came to Math. He was an amazing Math teacher!!!!!! I will always remember his warm, wide smile too. God bless the family members he has left behind. May they find peace in their memories of the good times.

For Warren MacDonald
I will miss the sun after it sets
How its warmth can dry my tear stained cheeks
How the sky lights up for all to see
The beauty rolling
As arms stretched out and forever holding
Protecting me when i am small
Shinning like friendly Elvis grins that invite me in
Spending time in silent glow
I will miss the sun and contagious laughing
of daytime stories by the lake and afternoon drives
to the country side, where fields of wheat wave hello
as we toss a football
and lay in the grass
and we remember all the sunny days as one long embrace
Now, as the sun’s light dims
my heart’s melting sadness beckons me to look up
For it’s the stars – timeless forever stars
that whisper and say secret things
As my thoughts slow and seem to breathe a sigh of relief
reminding me of not so distant daylight
that warmed us all and dried our cheeks
as we slept in open fields beneath clouds that want us
to see other things
like electric Elvis smiles telling us
that “everything will be ok”
...I will miss the sun after it sets

Dear Anne and Family,
Our deepest condolences for your loss. At Meghan's Gilsenan's wedding last week, we were talking about Warren and what an outstanding person he was and noble life he led. In my brief meetings with him, I was personally impressed by how he was always smiling.

In the 70's I had the privilege of being part of the Bishop Ryan Math Dept. We math teachers knew that it was the best place to work, but I don't think we realized until later how lucky we were. Neither before nor since have I known such support and cohesiveness in a workplace. This was due to Warren's leadership. He was smart, organized, fair, efficient, and so much fun. We actually enjoyed Dept meetings! More than that, Warren was and remained a friend even after we had all moved on. His warmth and kindness defined him. What a special man.
My deepest sympathies to Anne,Sheila, Andy,Steve, Cathy and Christine
