Obituary of Warren Daniel MacDonald

MACDONALD, Warren Daniel Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, at the Carpenter Hospice, Burlington, on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Anne (Feher). Loving father of Sheila (Jim McFadden), Andy, Steve (Didi), Cathy (Tom Kubiseski) and Christine (Bridget Coombs). Beloved brother of Shannon (the late Ernie Bellefeuille), Tal (Bettyanne), Joe (Steph) and brother-in-law of Rosemary (Paul Howard). Will also be sadly missed by his 9 grandchildren and his nieces and nephews. Warren taught at Bishop Ryan High School from 1959-1980 and coached the Celtics Football Team from 1959-1977. He finished his teaching career at St. Thomas More High School from 1982-1993. Warren was an inspiration to all he met and will be dearly missed by his family and friends, former colleagues and students. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. Vigil prayers Friday at 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, Stoney Creek, on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 10 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Carpenter Hospice or the Cancer Assistance Program, would be appreciated by the family.
