Obituary of Konrad (Hans) Schmoll

SCHMOLL, Konrad (Hans) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Konrad on January 17, 2013, in his 74th year with his sister Margareta lovingly by his side. Beloved husband of Heidi for 52 years. Dear brother of Margareta (Bobby) of Washington and Otto (Sieglinde) of Germany. He will be missed by his special friends Ron and Judy as well as all of his many friends and family. Konrad was employed as a well respected and extremely talented Machinist with Bermingham Foundation Solutions from November 1969 until his retirement in 2008. He and Heidi were long time members of The Church of Our Saviour The Redeemer. Konrad took great pleasure in being a Ham Radio Operator and enjoyed connecting with many friends around the world. Special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of the I.C.U. at St. Joseph’s Hospital. We will always be grateful to everyone, for making Konrad’s last days so peaceful. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Konrad’s life will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Saturday, January 26, at 12 Noon, with visitation from 11:15 a.m. In kindness, donations to the Alzheimer Society, would be most appreciated.
