Obituary of Frank Stanisa Sr.

STANISA, Frank Sr. It is with our deepest sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father Frank Stanisa , on Monday, June 24, 2013, in his 90th year. Predeceased by his wife Vera . Loving father of Frank Jr. (Kathy), Joe, Barbara (Walter) and Ursula (Gilles). Cherished grandfather of Stephanie, David, Christina, Michael and great-granddaughter Ameliah Vera. Will be sadly missed by his brother Sylvester (Nancy) and sister Josie Cornely and many nieces and nephews in Ohio, also by extended family in Slovenia. Frank was a retired employee of the Ford Motor Co., where he worked for 24 years. Special thanks to his friends at Slovenian Park in Bolton for their valiant efforts. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers Thursday at 4:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory The Great Slovenian Catholic Church, Delawana Dr. and Centennial Parkway, on Friday, June 28 at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
