Obituary of Bryan Atkinson

Peacefully, after a long illness, Bryan went home to be with the Lord, on Thursday, January 8, 2015 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Joan of 58 years. Cherished father of Irene and her husband Doug Harvey, Martin and his wife Teena, Dorothy and her husband Tom Kayyali. Devoted Papa of Bryan, Christina and Martin. Loved great-grandfather of Bailee, Avarie and Kaeden. Will also be sadly missed by his many family and friends in Canada and Ireland. Special thanks to the VON nurses, Dr. L. Harding and the staff of St. Peters 3W. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Faith Baptist Church, 92 Parkdale Ave. N., Hamilton, on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Faith Baptist Church would be greatly appreciated.
