Obituary of Gladys Bowley

Mom passed peacefully in her sleep on March 13, 2015 in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husband Victor James (1983) and son Brian (1996). Survived by her children Alan (Karen), Sandra, David, Vernon, Leonard, Neil, Donald, Debra, Mark (Dianne) and Kimberly. She was an adored Grandma and Nana to more than 50 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was a war bride from Wales and shared her Welsh pride with us all. She had a kind heart and her smile and quick wit will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
