Dear Jack, Michael, and Lee Anne, I would like to express our Family's deepest condolences on Mary's passing. Jack, you and Mary have always been so kind to our parents, Owen and Marta. And Mary in particular has been such a good friend to keep in touch with both my Mom, as well as myself. We will not forget her caring, lovely spirit. I was gratified to read that St. Joe's Firestone Clinic had been a great health care partner for Mary. We will be making a contribution to their Pleural Spaces Clinic in memory of Mary. We hope you find some solace in knowing Mary was very well loved and respected by many. Sincerely, Jackie Boris-Work and Family Les Boris and Family

Always welcome at the homestead and eager to help or just listen, I've been priviledged to know Mary and Jack since they moved to Stoney Creek, when I was about 8 or 10 years old. My sincere regret that I cannot make a last visit, being out of the country, but Mary and family will be in my thoughts....Wayne Sharp

If only the good die young, then Mary was the absolute exception to the rule. She may very well have been the sweetest, kindest person I have ever met. It is without question that Mary will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her and I am deeply saddened to have to say good-bye. In the immortal words of Dr. Seuss; words I have always tried to live by, “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” Thank you Mary for all the laughs and all the smiles. The world will not be the same without you.

To have counted Mary as a friend for the past 43 years has been one of my life's true blessings and the cups of coffee shared over all these years number in the thousands She was truly "one of a kind". I can only imagine how grateful Jack must be for Michael and Lee Anne's loving and unstinting dedication to Mary over these past many months. I know she will rest peacefully after a life well lived and she will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
