To the Dow family I send my deepest sympathys,to you. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Growing up in somerville and my father friends with Peters parents whom I remember, couldnt have asked for better friends and neighbours as this family. And not being that much younger than Peter, it sounds like he hadnt changed any, just not only from a wonderful son and brother to a fantastic husband, father and grandfather.
May God Sustain you and Bless you.

Dear Erma and Family
Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather. I only met Peter a few times, but it was a pleasure to know him even that little bit.
Erma, I know we haven't stayed in touch a lot over the years, but I have thought of you often. Unfortunately, I am travelling a similar path, as I lost my precious teenage son last summer. If you ever want someone to talk to, I'd love to see you.
Sincerely,
Debbie (your old Firestone buddy)

Dear Erma, Todd and Stacey and families,Please accept my sincere sympathy at the loss of your husband and Dad. Peter will be sadly missed in the Strawberry Drive Community. Your family were one of the initial residents of this unique area. My husband Tom and I were always in awe of his immaculate gardening skills and so envious of the beautiful landscape ideas he meticulously designed and maintained. We were so lucky to have such great neighbours. However life and time change everything. Peter and Tom are now our guardian angels.
I know this is an extremely difficult time, but memories will help to give you strength, as well as the love and sympathy of family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Sincerely Jennifer

To Erma:
My thoughts are with you and your family. No words can express your feelings of loss, (nor mine). Peter was a great guy, which is what everyone will remember when they say his name. Thankfull that he won't suffer his poor health any longer. Just keep close to your heart that special feeling that he gave you, because he loved you and you were lucky to have this gift from him. Please know I'm close by if you need a friend.

From: Ned Montgomery. I spent my first 18 years in the village of Somerville, New Brunswick, just a few doors from the Dow family home. Peter and I were born only months apart and we were great friends as children. I was also a close friend of his very special brother, Herbert. I intermittently lost track of Peter over the years but would catch up on his whereabouts from mutual acquaintances. He was obviously an impressive man who leaves behind a legacy that we could all wish for. My sincerest condolences to all who benefited so much from Peter's life.

Erma and Family,
We are very sorry to hear about Peter's passing. He will be missed by all who knew him. We feel badly that we didn't get to see him this year as we were away. I will remember the fun we had at the combined party last September. Too bad we didn't get to the condo in Florida where Peter was going to sneak us all in the back way. We will see you when we get back in April. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Lots of love,
Dale and Carole

From: Brian and Marlene Bogart (Brian - MCB Mechanical who worked with Pete setting air-conditioning units for the last 20 years). Pete was an extremely good crane operator, very helpful to Brian on the sites. He didn't always follow the rules, but they got the job done properly. The last time we saw Pete and Erma was at his Ward Crane retirement party and we had so much fun with them. He called here a few months ago, just to keep in touch and we planned to get together. Our deepenst sympathies go out to Erma, the children and grandchildren.
