It has taken us awhile to write this for Jim. I think it is still sinking in. It is hard to believe it has been ten days since you left this earth to celebrate Mom's birthday with her and taking a rosary to Grandma. He always knew how to make people happy. Jim always made a difference in a Jim way but the last six weeks of his life he taught so many of us so much. The way Jim used his humour, the way he was so candid about his prognosis and the way he showed his appreciation for family and friends, was a support for all of us who shared his journey. We are glad Jim is pain free but he is being missed. We were lucky to have you as a big brother.

I was so sad to hear about the passing of Jim but relieved to know he is no longer in pain. I grew up across the street from Jimbo (that's what I called him). I always new when he was home or going out because I could hear the rumble of his Harley. I would look across the street and see him cleaning his favourite toy in the garage and I'd hurry to get my bathing suit on because I knew Jimbo would let me swim in his poo.l He was good man and fantastic friend to my dad. Rest in peace.

I was so sorry to hear about Jim passing. I have so many memories of all of our cousins having fun and getting into mischief at grandma and grandpas farm. At christmas time the house would be packed to the rafters yet everyone would manage to find a seat somewhere for Christmas dinner. I always picture Jim smiling and laughing. I am sorry for your loss. He will be truly missed.

January 21 st, I had to say goodbye to the most influential man in my life, my grandpa. This is, by far the heaviest blow I've ever taken emotionally, as the man was more than a grandfather to me, he was my like my dad. He's taught me so much, and the reason I'm still breathing and walking free is because of him. I know he at peace finally and I will always hold the memories we had together close to my heart. I'll see you again one day at that show and shine in heaven. Love you grandpa, my father, my mentor and greatest friend.P

I had the privilege of working with Jim for 13 years at HSC. He retired at least three times in the years that I knew him, and he just couldn't stay away! He had a fantastic sense of humour, and was always willing to help. He was so proud of his wife and family, he often said that he wouldn't be the man that he was without his patient and loving wife. I hope he's on his bike, somewhere warm with the wind in his face. Rest well, Jim.

Thank you Dad for all the great memories and helping me become the man I am. I will always remember our rides together on our bikes to wherever the road took us. I will also miss sitting with you enjoying some Grand Marnier and talking. Love you.

Love and miss you grandpa. I will never forget the valuable lessons you've taught me whether they were verbally or just watching you be you. You taught me to be myself and that mistakes happen, keep your family close, hold on to your loved ones and forgive quicker than you forget. You'll be sincerely missed by all of us. In the end you brought our family back together and closer.

Talking about memories and looking at pictures while sitting in your sweater! Thank you for some of the best memories these past few weeks. It's been an honour sitting by your bed side and holding your hand through your fight. I love you to the moon and around all the stars a million and one times. Rest in peace and enjoy the company of your parents once again. It's not good bye but see you soon ...
