Obituary of James (Jim) Harry Field

FIELD, James Harry (Jim) After a valiant fight, we announce the passing, on Thursday, January 21, 2016 in his 76th year. James is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elizabeth (Timms). He will be sadly missed by his children Christopher (Laurie), Dawn Marie (Herb) and Paul (Maryanne). Loving grandpa to Kyle (Stacey), Adam (Sarah), Mason, Brittany (Dale), Chelsea, Andrew, Samantha, Victoria, James and great-grandpa to Caylynn, Deson and Ally. James is also survived by his 5 wonderful sisters Dale (late Anthony) Szalay, Carolyn (late Gerald) Timms, Henrietta (Hugh) Parliament, Faye (Bill) Loostma, Kathy (Philip) Boadwin. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. James was predeceased by his parents Harry and Irene Field and his in-laws Alex and Estelle Timms. James had many good friends. He will be greatly missed by his best-friend Bob Martin. Sincere thanks to all of the healthcare providers on C3 Juravinski Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to Juravinski Hospital would be greatly appreciated. RIDING FREE.
