I would like to send out my condolences to the family of Mrs. Bedford as you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Although I didn't know her that well, I do know through my friendship with her son Keith that she was a very special lady whom I was lucky enough to have been in her presence a couple of times. My deepest sympathies to Arlene,Philip,Keith,David and family.Your Mom was a kind,generous,loyal person with a great sense of humour.We always referred to her as Aunt Merridy largely because my Mom,Donna Ford considered her as a "sister",and because she always made an effort to be part of our lives.I will always remember our yearly shopping trips with my Aunts,Grandma Gerty, and Mom at the Eaton Centre when I was attending school in TO.I never laughed so much in my entire life;we had a marvelous time.Aunt Merridy always made sure of that.I will always remember her!

So sorry to hear of the loss of Aunt Merridy. I can still remember being a child and how much she loved to grab ahold of my cheeks and pinch them until they were bright red (more than they normally were).
Much love, light and healing going out the family as I know she will be dearly missed. She was a vibrant and beautiful lady, inside and out.

It is with great sadness that we send our sincere sympathies to family members. Auntie Merridy gave us many memories that we will continue sharing amongst ourselves. When our kids, Michelle, Paula, Jen and Ted were young they all remember her greeting each of them with a pinch to their cheeks that left a red mark on them. We were just mentioning that a few days ago. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. Rest in Peace Auntie Merridy, you will be missed. We all loved you and know our love goes with you as you begin your new journey.

Aunt Merriday, we will miss your laugh, your smile, your warmth. Our memories of you go back so very far, to dinners with our families when we were all so much younger.
