Obituary of Dianne Poirier

POIRIER, Dianne (nee Chadwick, Cuciurean) After a brave and courageous battle with cancer, Dianne passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of Louie. Cherished mother of Chris (Rosemary), Nicole (Craig), Lisa (Steve), David and Jaye (Jen). Loving grandma of Adam (Kim), Ryan, Jessica, Amber, Felicia, Alex, Justine, Rachelle, Graemme, Courtney, David, Connor and Hunter. Dear sister of Brian (Lana). Faithful companion of Molly and her sister Biscuit. She will also be remembered by many extended family and friends. Special thank you to VON, CCAC and the staff at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for their care and compassion. Dianne was a longtime employee at Robinson’s. She also enjoyed spending her days in the garden, feeding the birds and baking. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Dianne’s Life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
