Obituary of Ronald Benedict Gyoker

GYOKER, Ronald Benedict October 6, 1960 - December 8, 2016 The funniest man in the world died on Thursday, December 8, 2016 and took our hearts with him. Ron lived his life by his own rule book and that book was filled with incredible passion for his family. Beloved husband and best friend of Kelly for 35 years. Loving father of Taylor and Jason, Dane and Jennifer. Cherished Rampy to Logan, Gracie, Presley, and Cami. Ron's proudest moment was the day his twins were born, Taylor and Dane. He made every day fun from their departure on the school bus to grocery shopping, vacations and even a simple game of catch. But just when we thought he couldn't possibly love anyone more, along came Rampy's 4 angels Logan, Gracie, Presley, Cami (Spud) to prove him wrong (which we all enjoyed watching). He became invincible and nothing was too much for him to do for them. Pride was a word that couldn't come close to the emotions he held for them. Ron was Superman, the man of steel...not to just his family but to his Dofasco work family of 38 years as well. I lost the love of my life today and although I'm not sure how I will go on, I know what I will miss the most and that is everything! Thank you for being my world. I miss you already. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 12 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
