Dan was the first friend we made when we moved to Rosslyn as a young couple. 25 years later we were fortunate to still call him friend. We will miss him. At this time of year I always watch the movie It's a Wonderful Life. This quote certainly describes how I am feeling: Clarence: Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he? Dan touched so many lives. There is definitely an awful hole now.

Dan was a wonderful friend to our Daughter Patti, Chris, Austin and Hailee. Dan was able to help them when we were not able to and we will ALWAYS be grateful for his kindness and generosity. I so enjoyed visiting with Dan on his front verandah and kidding with him about his beloved Red Wings. I know for a fact that Rosslyn Ave. S. will NEVER be the same. Rest in Peace Dear Man !
