Bill was an amazing man, always there, to help out the son in law that wasn't good with tools. He took me into the family from day 1. He was a fantastic father, grandfather and husband to Christa. I looked up to him and will miss him. My Condolences to all the family...

Bill has been a part of my life for 48 years. A big brother to Don and I, an adopted son to mom. A strong and loving influence in our lives. I like to think that by now he and Don have had a long, loving hug and are already knee deep into one of their animated conversations that will solve all of the worlds problems. Much love to Christa, Billy and Rebecca in this time of deep loss. I know that he loved you, Michelle, Aaron and his grandchildren endlessly from the many stories he shared of you all with such pride. I will miss him dearly, as will mom and all of Don's family.

We have been blessed to have known Bill. The marriage of our children Lindsay and Aaron not only began a family history but a lasting friendship as well. It's been an honour to have known Bill for the last 20 years, his strength in fighting his battles has been inspiring to all who knew him and never stopped him from enjoying everything around him. Christa, as difficult as this time is for you and my heart goes out to you, I can't help but remember all the happy times filled with laughter. How Opa loved our Ava and Addison as his own and how important he has been in their lives. They will treasure the time spent together and never forget their amazing Grandfather. Tammy and Billy, it's never easy losing one you love so deeply. Your Dad made such an impression on every one around him with his strength, determination and his humour. A wonderful legacy filled with love. Aaron, Lindsay, Michelle and Jeff..how wonderful you had the chance to share so many years with not just a step-father but a devoted friend. Bill was such a wonderful man, husband, father and grandfather. We have so many fond memories from weddings, to Christmas Eve parties, to birthday and summer parties and more. Kind, intelligent, funny and loving, we always enjoyed talking to him. He faced every challenge head on with no complaining. He will be fondly remembered and missed. Sending our love and deepest sympathies to Christa, Billy and Tammy, Aaron and Lindsey, Jake and Taylor, and everyone in the family.
