HUNTER, Michael Thomas

With very heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michael at his home on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 in his 57th year, after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving husband and best friend of Diane (nee McBride). Cherished father of Curtis and his wife Danielle, and 'cool-dad" to Alysha and Sol. Beloved son of Marian Miles and her husband Ross, and son of Jim. Dear brother to Valerie Hunter (Steve) and Peter Hunter. Nephew of Debbie and Derek Liddle, Bob Frackleton, Gary Frackleton, and Sally and Sheldon MacDonnell. Michael will also be sadly missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and his furry friends Gracie, Nala, and Ollie. He will also be deeply missed by many dear friends, many lifelong, along with co-workers. Michael was an avid skier, arborist, and plant "guru". He had achieved second degree black belt in karate and had competed in same in Okinawa, Japan. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
