Laura and Jennifer,
I was sad to read this morning in the Hamilton Spectator of the death of your dad. He was a very accomplished man and always a gentleman.
I met your mom first at McMaster a number of years ago and then your dad. I very much enjoyed their company. We shared a love of gardening. Your dad kindly gave up his seat at Theatre Aquarius for January performances a number of times so Carol and I could attend together. Those were enjoyable evenings.
Please accept my sympathy. There will be some sad days ahead before the pain eases. I will be thinking of you.
