Obituary of Donald Victor Brown

Peacefully, at Amica-Stoney Creek, on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in his 93rd year.  Loving husband of Norma and true love of 71 years.  Dear father to Donna and her husband Maurice Pickard, Craig and his wife Jane Brown.  Loving and devoted grandfather to Nathan and his wife Katie Pickard, Julie and her husband Tyson Webber, Matthew and his wife Alexis Pickard, Amy and her husband Will Cockburn.  Proud great-grandfather to Brin and Emmett Webber, Caleb and Eli Pickard, Samuel Pickard and James Cockburn.  

In 1955, Don and Norma established the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home on Lake Avenue Drive in Stoney Creek.  Together, they served their community with compassion and devotion.  Their values continue in the legacy of the business they founded.  

Due to Covid restrictions, a private family funeral service will be held at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, on Friday, January 29, 2021 and will be livestreamed on the funeral home Facebook page at 1:30 p.m.  Interment will follow at Fifty Cemetery in Winona.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity or your choice.  Notes of sympathy and condolence may be made at www.donaldvbrown.ca
