Obituary of Desmond Ashton Richard Lawrance

It is with profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our Dad, just shy of his 90^th birthday. Finally reunited with our Mum, Florence. Will be missed by adoring daughters Linda (Dave), Susan (Wayne) and Jayne and by cherished grandchildren Natasha (Jamie), Brandon, Andrea (Emma), Ashton (Torie) and Sarah. Also missing their GG will be Hunter and Jackson. Left to mourn are his brother Patrick (Hedy) in Canada and his sister Christine in the U.K. Predeceased by his sister Delphine. Leaves behind many well loved family and friends in Canada and the U.K. Special thank you to all of the staff at Macassa Lodge for all of the kindness, care and compassion that they showed to my dad during his stay there. All one can ask for is a life well lived and our Dad lived his life to the fullest. Love you and miss you. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 3 p.m. which will be livestreamed on the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home facebook page. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
