Condolences to the family. I loved this lady from the moment we met. Her kindness, generosity and welcoming smile.
My cherished memories are still so vivid, sitting in her kitchen watching her making fresh homemade pasta and meatballs.
God Bless you. I know you are watching over your family now as an angel in heaven. xo

My heartfelt sympathies to the Suriani family. Sharing your sadness as you all grieve today.I know she was an amazing woman and raised a beautiful family. I know life must not have been easy raising all of her children on her own after her husband died unexpectedly years ago, but she surely persevered and did it with such grace and love. So proud to have known some of you but I made a great friend. Thank you Mrs. Suriani for giving Tiz life. Tiz I love you and respect you for all you have done for the family and how you care so deeply and love those around you and always wanting the best for them.
I will miss your moms infectious smile and her positive attitude. Her legacy of love and sacrifice will always be remembered. All my love to you Tiz and the family...xoxo

Bernard, Nick, Angelo and family:
So very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Maria was such a lovely, kind lady, and a great cook. I especially remember how your mother always had a smile on her face (even when Bennie annoyed her), she was truly "one in a million". The years John and I spent being your neighbours in Stoney Creek were so memorable. Please accept my sincere condolences.
Grant, O Lord, to all who are bereaved the spirit of faith and courage, that they may have strength to meet the days to come with steadfastness and patience; not sorrowing as those without hope, but in thankful remembrance of thy great goodness in past years, and in the sure expectation of a joyful reunion with those they love; and this we ask in the Name of Jesus Christ our Saviour. Amen

My Dearest Mom...if I could I would write a book it would be all about you. You were my very first friend who gave me unconditional love and supported me with everything in my life so I could grow into the woman I am today. We have created so many memories together that I wouldn’t know where to begin so I will just mention a few that I know would make you laugh and smile. ..The times when the mood hit and I would just out of the blue stand up and strike a pose and begin to dance silly for you only to see you laughing and then say “ ohhh Tiziana ...you bad girl ..you crazzzzzeee” or the times we went for dinner and then the casino and you would make sure to ask me if I brought my debit card just in case you needed more money. Mom I’m so going to miss our 10 plus phone calls a day, the stories we shared and the voice mail messages you would leave “Hi “T” you go out? You still sleep? Ok call me back”. You were and will always be in my thoughts and in my heart and I will miss you and love you forever. I made a promise to look after Benny for you and I promise to always let Benny know how much you loved him. Until we meet again my beautiful Angel .. Rest In Peace

Hi My Beautiful.. Hi My Wonderful.
I thought you were going to live forever, that’s what I always told you. How can we get by without you here? My heart is broken and I need your gentle hug to tell me it’s all going to be OK.
I can’t put into words how much I’ll miss you, how much I love you, or how much I appreciate our conversations and your advice/lessons. Our bond was so special and I feel so lucky for that.
Nonna, I know you weren’t ready to let go. I know you fought extra hard to stay. Your strength this past week was admirable and none of us will forget that. I knew there were moments you were fighting for to stay alive. I hope that when you found the strength to let go you were soon at peace, realizing that you will still be part of all those moments; Right beside us, and in us. I continuously pray that heaven is all you ever hoped it would be. I pray that the first person to welcome you with open arms and a smile was your precious mom that you spent so many years missing. Your sister, Nonno, Lavern, and all your other BFFs and family members, I pray that they were there to welcome you too. Life on earth doesn’t compare to eternal life in heaven. There, you won’t hurt anymore. Your heart will work perfectly, your hands and feet will no longer be sorry, and your mind can be at ease as there’s nothing to fear or be anxious about in the home of God. I know one day I will see you again and like all good friendships, it will be as if we never parted. Please watch over us and let us feel you near when we need you most. I will continue to call you. We will continue to love your precious Benny and we will make sure he’s OK.
One more thing I wanted to say... So many people sent flowers to my home. They’re all so beautiful. It’s hard to look at them because I know what they signify. But then I think, people loved YOU so much that they sent me flowers. Everyone you came to know or crossed paths with, instantly loved you as you instantly loved them. Your heart was pure gold. I’ve never met someone so incredible as you. Thank you for giving your family every ounce of your love. We will forever love and appreciate you Nonna. It’s so hard to say goodbye.
Love you like a Giant.
