Obituary of Mary Lou Yaworski
(Coleman) February 19, 1943 – September 21, 2021
Peacefully on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the Hospice Wellington in her 79th year. Predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Roy Yaworski, her sister Louise Wilson and brother Dilly Coleman. Survived by her brother Smokey (Freba). Loving mother of Media (Sean) and Stephan (Paulina). Devoted Nana of Ashley (Mike), Spencer, Jessica, Xavier and Keaira. Great-Grandmother (GG) of Abigail, Bradley and Joshua. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law, Sue, brothers-in-law, Ed (Mary), Eugene (Linda), Joe (Zina) and William, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary Lou was an employee of the Wentworth County District School Board from the age of 18 until her retirement as the Head of Payroll. Mary Lou will be remembered by her many friends and acquaintances she met over the years working along side her family at the Hamilton and Burlington Farmer’s markets as well as her Tuesday TOPS. Mary Lou had a love of all animals and especially all things Dachshund, and was predeceased by her beloved pups, Alexander “the Great”, Oscar, and Candy. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday, September 27, 2021, from 9-11 a.m. A private family service by invitation will be held at 11 a.m. in the Chapel with interment following at Stoney Creek Cemetery.
