I so enjoyed reading the lovely obituary, watching the photo montage and the service today. You have honoured your husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather so fittingly. I always had the highest respect for him, both for the fact that he was VP of John Deere, and as I saw how well he looked after his family... he was the 'cool dad' who built skateboard ramps, had snowmobiles, a pool, the first computer, etc! (and freely shared them with his kids' friends too :) Sorry I could not be with you today (due to being immuno-compromised we have to be extra-careful) but thank you for having the online service so I could watch from home. Sending my condolences to all of you, knowing how hard it is to say good-bye to the patriarch of the family. Grace and peace in your season of grief. Julie Tiessen

Our deepest sympathy for all the Reimer family at this sad time. Bob and I(Greg) worked together at Deere for for over thirty years and I have many good memories from those years . Bob was always a great representative of our company in any job he managed for us. There were also great fishing trips, lots of golf to go along with the great work ethic Bob had. Life is fragile and we all need to live each day to its fullest ,, and thats the way Bob lived . He was a good friend for over 50 years , I'll miss his enthusiasm. God bless him on his next journey and we 're all praying for the family at this time of sorrow in losing a loved one

To Marlene and Family
My heart is hurting for all of you on the loss of your dear husband, father and grandfather.
Bob was truly a special and wonderful person - so kind and caring; and he always showed his appreciation to those who worked with him. I feel so blessed that I was privileged to have him as my boss for several years during my time at John Deere. I will never forget him.
Please know that I care and that you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this sad and difficult time.
May God bless and comfort you and bring His peace to you.

Marlene and family,
Our condolences to the entire family.
Words are not enough to express the sorrow I feel in the passing of a dear friend and a great boss.
Bob was one of the kindest person I know, always willing to help and had so much joy in doing the things he enjoyed.
He was my boss for most of my career, my mentor as he was to many of the employees who had the good fortune of working for him, and a friend to my family.
I will miss him dearly as will so many others. I am so glad I was able to visit with him at our retirees luncheon in Dec 2021.
Rest in peace my friend.

I have very fond memories as a youth spending time at Bob and Marlene's home in Grimsby. They hosted many great youth events and pool parties. Bob and Marlene were welcoming and gracious hosts. I enjoyed talking with Bob as a youth. He spoke to me as an adult, his equal, very genuine.
Margaret and I would like to extend our deepest condolences to Marlene and the Family,
Darryl Knechtel

Bob was totally genuine. His care for people and his leadership skills were remarkable. He always offered a handshake with a beaming smile because he was interested in you and because he was a true ambassador for his Lord.
We are so thankful for Bob's life and we know that we will soon meet again.
Love,

Dear Marlene and family.....
So sad to hear of Bob’s passing.
We were enriched by Bob as we journeyed life together for many years.
Bob was one of those special men that had a great influence in David’s life. His gracious, uplifting nature and his commitment to his Lord were a real example of an authentic man of God. Serving together on the church board was a privilege and a blessing.
Good memories of times shared with you guys.
Hugs to you all,

I will remember Uncle Robert as the kindest, most gracious man. His arms were always wide open for a hug and his eyes had a sparkle that made a person want to visit with him. Wish I could have given him one last hug. Our Reimer family is so proud of all of his amazing success in the corporate world, but I think what I admire most about him is how he carried himself so humbly and generously. What a legacy he left of love and devotion to his family and an unwavering faith! My sincere condolences to the family, to Auntie Marlene, the kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. Picturing him perfectly healed in heaven right now and looking forward to seeing him there again.

My heart breaks for your loss. What a beautiful tribute written about your beloved dad. When I read it, two words stuck out to me. Humble and kind. Although I didn’t see him often, when I did that is what I saw. And so fun to be around! A man of real faith.
I know you will miss him dearly. But what a wonderful hope we have. Because of our dear Saviour you will spend eternity with your dad. You can look forward to that.
My heart is with all of you. ❤️❤️❤️

Dear Reimer family, our condolences to you on the passing of your husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. My memories of Robert go back to the beginning when he started dating my sister Marlene and although the couple with three small children moved away from Steinbach to meet the requirements of his new Job with John Deere, we kept in touch with the family, through Marlene's faithful updates and the visits when possible. Robert and I had much in common, both of us liked to build and create. I remember when Robert and I completed the recreation room ceiling in your Grimsby home together and took in a Montreal Canadiens game in Buffalo NY. Robert was focused and goal oriented with an enthusiasm and energy to reach his goals, honest and trustworthy. He possessed a keen mind and drive to know and understand and not follow blindly - we had some great exchanges of ideas. I will miss you dear brother-in-law!
Your brother-in-law
