Dear Darlene, Philip and Heather:, We loved visiting with your Mom and Dad while they were here in Japan and of course, on our subsequent visits together in Canada. Pearl was truly a treasure, a godly, caring woman! I'm thankful for her life and for the legacy that she left behind in the many lives she touched. Praying for you all as you celebrate your mom's life and homegoing. I know she will be missed by many!

We rejoice with the family to know that Pearl is now in the presence of the Lord having been given entrance to her eternal reward. Pearl's love for God, her warm hospitality and engaging smile, live on in our memories and hearts. Along with Bill she served her Lord faithfully and without doubt would have heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
Pearl will be missed, but she lives on in the lives of her family and friends.

Dear Darlane, Heather and Phillip,
My deepest heartfelt condolences to you on the passing of your wonderful Mother, Pearl such a gracious lady to was always smiling and very welcoming.
The many times that I was at your house on Glenvale Blvd., in Toronto was either with the young people from the Avenue Road Church or for lunch on Sunday.
Your mother was always happy to see me and whoever joined the group. She was such a special lady.
May God continue to give you strength through these difficult days.

Pearl & Bill Newell were a great couple with special contributions to the ministries they were involved in.
One of our favourite memories was the evening we were invited to their home for a Saint Patrick’s Day dinner consisting of Corned Beef and Cabbage and home made fudge made by Bill. It was a special and fun filled evening.

To Darlane, Heather and Philip. I just learned of your mother's passing and also of Japhia's passing. I am so very sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and your families and to Japhia's family.
Due to circumstances, I was able to meet great Aunt Pearl and Japhia only one time, but I feel privileged and grateful for that opportunity. They both seemed like very nice people, and I wish I had been able to know them better.
