Our deepest condolences to the family. We have been friends for a very long time meeting Lois and the love of her life Gordie who is now reunited with the love of his life.We met at Stoney Creek Alliance Church when we were young and became instant friends and over the years had Bible study groups and group get together dinners and a lot of fun and laughter. We watched all our children grow together. She was a lovely God believing woman and now is home with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She will be missed by all who knew her but Lois we will meet again.Thank you for being our friend. Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I AM God.” :)

LOIS JEAN JOURNEY
Feb 10th, 2023, Age 83
I CAN ONLY IMAGINE
This past week, many of us lost a very dear person. Regardless of anyone's age, who knew her, she was either your younger or older sister. Your "exterior" never mattered to her. She had a unique ability to see beyond your age, gender, or any other visuals. She deeply connected to others ... SOUL TO SOUL.
This rare quality, within her, made her a TRAILBLAZER. I say that because she always took the first steps with everyone she knew. She radiated her PERSONHOOD ....... her WHONESS. I found her to be one of the most "youthful" people I ever knew.
One of her most dominant qualities was her sense of humour. While she always gave this quality away ... it was never at the expense of someone. She was a real "spitfire". In many ways I see her as an "endangered species". A person is lucky to meet such a person, as Lois ...... once in a lifetime ...... if even that. Her most intimate dynamic about her was her personal faith. I never knew her to "preach" this faith. Instead, she WORE IT. I sat for a spell. And, I tried to think of a song that would capture her deep faith and vibrant personality ..... and the fullness of her life. My choice would be "I Can Only Imagine", by Michael W. Smith.
God has richly blessed you Lois.
Thank you for constantly giving all that you were AWAY

Lois was such a special person in our SCAC family. Her unique humour uplifted all who knew her. Her sincere, compassionate heart touched many lives.
She shone bright with the joy of the Lord.
Blessings to her family.
