I have many warm memories of Karon & Elio when the family lived in Binbrook. I know she was a great mother and loved all her children dearly. I admired her strength through great heartbreak when her beloved daughter Kim passed! I send love and comfort to all Eunice Tammy Erina & Roy. Remember swimming in our pool and babysitting Todd & Missy for me way back then! ? My last name was Borisuk at that time! Thinking of you all.

Moments of Clarity
Mom opened her eyes again to ask yet another question.
Her worry is constant and only for those around her, never for herself.
Although her illness has taken hold, she has moments of clarity.
Her lungs are no longer providing her with life’s precious air. But she pushes on.
In those moments, Mom knows her time is short, so she instills her wisdom with each short breath.
Her keen skill at reading people is still razor-sharp.
The slightest movement has her close to the end, but she insists she isn’t ready and holds on.
I wonder why, so I ask “what’s keeping you here?”
She says she wants the kids to get along. Although we offer our assurance that all is well, in her moment of clarity, she tells me we are putting on a good act.
She asks me how long she has, and I ask her why I get all the tough questions. She says, “Because you know the answers.”
If only that were true for all of us.
And now she is departed from this earth. Her tortured mind and heart finally at peace.
Her fight to stay among us so brave and strong.
I know you are fulfilled in the path you have been granted, because you stubbornly refused to leave us until you had your way.
Thank you my sweet mama.
How I love you so…

I have known the Zannoni family since 1983. I was always welcomed into their home and was there for many events. Karon was always kind and generous to her family and her friends. She was loved very much and she always loved back. Last time I seen Karon was at a baby shower for her granddaughter. When she seen me I remember her hugging me and saying so happy to see you I missed you. Thinking of the Zannoni family. Thankful for Erina for introducing me to her mom.. I loved her very much and will always treasure the memories of her that we shared together.

My sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of Nona especially Ashley and Natalie. Nona was truly the sweetest women ever and I will miss her dearly. Nona always welcomed me with open arms anytime I saw her. I would visit her with Ashley and Natalie. Anytime I went over she always made sure we had something delicious to eat. Ashley made sure Nona was always well taken care of and spent as much time with her as possible and I know Nona was extremely grateful.
To ash…you’re my best friend and Natalie you’re my second mom. I want you both to know I love you so much and Nona is always watching over you. Rest well Nona <3 <3

Karon was such a great and thoughtful woman,I had a good times being her personal supporter. She would want me to come along everywhere she'd go, whenever it was time to eat I had to eat as well right by her side , she made me feel like I'm part of the family. She would joke around and we would laugh all the time. I genuinely enjoyed working for her and being around her family and it never felt like I was at work but instead my other home I will definitely miss her.
My sincere condolences to the whole Zannoni family.
Rest in peace Karon

I never did have the pleasure of meeting Karon in person but I did experience her strength and wit in a conversation with her.
She will be sadly missed by her whole family and very much by Ashley. Ash spent a many days and nights with her Nona, over her 23 years of life. From the time of her Nona taking care of her as a wee Lil thing, to the latest days of Ash repaying the care and love that Nona taught her. As a granddaughter she loved her Nona deeply and now mourns and reflects on the many good memories drinking tea and watching a good movie.
Life throws us a boomerang, we receive in the early years, in the later years the love is returned in spades. I know and understand your pain and loss. You will always carry a piece of your Nona for the rest of your years on this earth.
Roman Krupa.
