Obituary of Karon Jean Zannoni

September 14, 1942 - February 12, 2024

Devoted wife to her husband Elio Zannoni of 63 years, Karon and Elio built a beautiful life together in Hamilton and shared a home that has seen the love of many generations. 

Karon is now reunited with her eldest daughter Kimberly and parents Kathleen and Roy. She passed away peacefully on February 12, 2024, in her 82nd year holding the hand of her twin sister Sharon and closest confidant.

Karon is survived by her remaining children, Eunice (Carl), Tamara (Jeff), Erina (Lorne), Natalie and Roy. Her eldest sister Donna (Ted), twin sister Sharon and son Gregory, her grandchildren Allanna, Karalena, Brennan, Raymond, Jeffrey, Meghan, Patrick, Kevin, Ashley, Samantha and Joey. Her 5 great-grandchildren Jacob, Anthony, Alyssa, Effie and Grayson, and many nieces and nephews. 

Some of our fondest memories of Mom (Nonna) will forever be “Nonna’s tea”, watching one of her favourite movies together, listening to her whistle to her canary, or her quick witted “Nonna-burns”. 

She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Visitation will take place on Friday February 16, 2024 between 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
