Douglas Kellough posted a condolence

Andrew and I had many different relationship roles - fellow pastors in Hants County, Nova Scotia, Director and Student in Acadia's D.Min. program, prayer/support group members, brothers in Christ and most of all, friends. We prayed for and supported one another in ministry and life, welcomed one another in our churches and homes, studied together, argued with one another, laughed together, ministered in adjacent communities and enjoyed one another as friends. It is a shock to read today about his passing some months ago. I extend my sympathy to Suzanne and all of his family with prayers for their adjustment without Andrew beside them. May our gracious God continue to support you and be with you.
Much love,
Doug and Jacqui Kellough and family

I was fortunate to have been taught by Professor Irvine at Knox College (The Presbyterian Seminary in Toronto). His course was on small congregations and how they are unique and vibrant communities of faith. Many of his teachings i still recall and use today as a Minister in the Presbyterian Church in Canada. He always had a way fo making you think broader regarding a topic and it is skill I use as a Governor of Knox College. My sincere condolences to Professor Irvine's family on your loss. May his memory be a blessing.

The Baxter family is sending heartfelt condolences to the Irvine family; it was such a shock to see Andrew's obituary in today's Chronicle Herald and to realize that you are now mourning the death of your beloved husband, Dad, and Grandpa. So many memories come to mind of the years when we all lived in Wolfville, of shared experiences at Acadia Divinity College, in the church community, and of the friendship our families enjoyed. We pray that God's loving presence will bring a sense of comfort and peace to your hearts in the days ahead.

Hi Suzanne, you probably don't remember us but we remember you and Andrew and have thought of you often over the years. Andrew was teaching at ADC when I began my studies and we ended up attending Wolfville Ridge Baptist. We really appreciated our conversations with you during those early months of preparing for ministry, and I remember still Andrew preaching a series of sermons from Joshua during a transition period between pastors at Wolfville Ridge. So sorry to hear of his death. Be assured of our prayers. May the God of all comfort be especially near to you and your family at this time.
In Christian Love,
Maurice & Vi Hatfield
