Obituary of Andrew Robertson Irvine

Andrew Robertson Irvine, aged 74, of Caledonia, Ontario passed away on April 28, 2024 following a brief illness.

Andrew is survived by his wife of 53 years, Suzanne and their children Sandy (Sarah), Stephen (Jenn) and Sarah (Brian), his greatly loved grandchildren Cody, Owen, Lauren, Alastair, Hannah, Thomas, Jade and Avery, his brother David (Kathleen) and his sister-in-law Janet.

Throughout a life of serving Christ, Andrew touched many lives - first as a social worker in SW Nova Scotia, then called to ministry as a pastor in several churches in Nova Scotia and Scotland and later as a Professor of Practical Theology at Acadia University, McMaster University and Knox Divinity College. He also served as a Board member of Mission Services and was the Chair of the military chaplaincy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Chedoke Presbyterian Church, 865 Mohawk Road, Hamilton, ON on Sunday, May 5th at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Mission Services, Hamilton
