Obituary of Douglas Robert Lee

Sept 9, 1969 - Sept 4, 2024

It is with immense sorrow and utter disbelief that we announce the unexpected and sudden passing of our beloved Doug on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024. Doug was a man's man. He was rough and tough when you first met him, but once you heard that big infectious laugh of his you could see that he was really a big softie. He never minced his words. You always knew where you stood and what you meant to him. He'd tell it like it was. His friends and family were his everything, just as much as he was to them.

Bestfriend and loving husband to wife Terri-Lynn (Scholey) and amazing father to sons Ryan (Eden) and Jack. Big brother and brother-in-law to Steven (Cheri), Kristine, Katie Gibson (Phil), Sarah Gordon (Kaleb Hachey). Uncle Doug was so proud of Lily, Patrick and Bridget. There will be a huge hole left in the hearts of all his Aunts, Uncles and Cousins of the Lee, Moro, Hubbard, Badger, Gall and Gordon families. Survived by his in-laws Greg and Sue Gordon and Grandma Dawes. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Patricia Lee, in-laws, Noel and Evelyn Scholey and all of his Grandparents.

Our Framily are all grieving and missing their BROTER. Thank you everyone at Landon Mechanical for helping us through this. To all the exceptional doctors and staff at the Hamilton General ER, Heart Unit and the CCU, our family thank you for your care, compassion and respect given to us during this extremely difficult time.

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 2 - 8 p.m . Cremation will follow and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice are appreciated by the family. Notes of sympathy and condolence may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
